The Nursery

Well we had a very busy weekend this weekend. We picked up the crib on Saturday, finished painting, and started organizing. LJ and I spent Sunday putting the crib together and then I had to start moving everything in! I couldn't help myself and probably over did it a little but once I started washing all of his sheets, towels, blankets, bibs, and burp clothes I couldn't wait to start putting things up and fix his crib. I am really loving the way everything is coming together and I can't wait to put up the curtains and the other wall decorations. I am still waiting on the wall art that I ordered and I suspect that it will be a while before it comes in. I have some old shelves that I want to paint and then add some elephants that LJ's dad collected. I think having some items in the nursery that were LJ's dads is going to be special.

Going back to the doctor on Wednesday. 34 weeks this past Sunday. They say he is the size of a honeydew! Starting to feel like I have less room and started to feel a lot more worn down after working away all weekend.

Moving Right Along...

So, things are moving right along. I can't believe I am 33 weeks! I am starting to get uncomfortable when I bend over and noticing the extra weight. We are counting down the days and still working to get everything done. I think "nesting" has officially began. I spent all my time at home this weekend cleaning and organizing the house. For some reason I feel like I have to clean out every closet and piece of furniture to make room for Barnes and all of his things.

Last weekend we went to a wedding in Myrtle Beach - thanks Megan and Will for a free place to stay! LJ and I had such a great time seeing everyone.

This weekend LJ and I spent Saturday on Lake Murray before LJ had to leave early Sunday morning for Virginia for a week! Yuck - I hate when he is gone, but I am hoping to get a lot done. We are planning to pick up the crib this coming Saturday. I am so excited so see everything together. So far LJ has painted the nursery, and Lonnie Bob (our friend Amanda's dad) helped LJ put up the molding and he built in a cabinet above the closet.
